A remake of the British television series “Brief Encounters,” “A Virtuous Business” will tell the story of the independence, growth, and friendship of four women who delve into door-to-door sales of adult products in a rural village back in 1992, when it was still taboo to talk about sex.Yeon Woo Jin will star as Kim Do Hyun, a detective with a 90s American-style soft charisma who gets reassigned from the prestigious Gangnam Police Station to the remote Geumje precinct.

Detective Kim Do Hyun’s transfer shakes up the Geumje Police Station. Having attended high school in the United States, Do Hyun returned to Korea, graduated from the police academy, and quickly rose through the ranks at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station. However, there is a story behind why Do Hyun ended up in Geumje, a place where he has no connections, that has yet to be revealed.
