Nelson Mandela Bay Metro Executive Mayor, Gary van Niekerk meets with property developers from ReMax Independent on September 16, 2024.has commended the manner in which the African National Congress is going about the possible reshuffle in the metro and says they have had several meetings.Van Niekerk says the planned reshuffle comes after the provincial ANC received a directorate from national, for the party to lead all municipalities where they are a majority.
The ANC provincially received a national instruction that where they have the most seats they should be leading government and what’s going to happen now is that I haven’t had any feedback yet, but I know for a fact that we will be having a meeting in the near future and we will together discuss it.
