'This was not just putting food on the table, this was for substantial financial gain'

The boss and bookkeeper of a 'well-organised and profitable' drugs gang that offered customers a 'smorgasbord' of weed strains and 'flavours' are behind bars. It comes after a £2m shipment was seized at an airport.

The garage, run by Dominic Ball, had been cleared to allow for the delivery delivered. Police raided the homes of Ball; Callum Seddon and his mum Tracy Seddon; Anthony Scott; and Aaron Blundell. Following the seizure of the drugs, search warrants were carried out at the defendant's homes. At Seddon's property on Tottington Road, drug paraphernalia was found - including snap bags containing cannabis bush, mobile phones and lists detailing cannabis strains.

"The police also seized paperwork with shopping lists of cannabis flavours or strains, cash - over £4,000 - and items linked to organised cannabis supply such as digital scales, marker pens, rubber gloves, labels and seal bags." "Anthony Scott, also had a very significant role to play. He was trusted to store wholesale quantities of drugs and burner phones at his home address, which was the base of the operation, where Callum Seddon would also do his book-keeping.
