A 46-year-old store manager from Kuala Terengganu was lured by promises of a 400% return on investment and lost RM81,050 to a non-existent scheme.

A 46-year-old store manager from Kuala Terengganu lost RM81,050 after falling victim to a non-existent investment scheme. He was contacted by a Chinese woman named Lily on April 27th who promised him a whopping 400% return on investment and added him to a WhatsApp group. The company provided online learning procedures and investment analysis. Enticed by the 400% profit offer, the victim made eight transfers to the company's account between May 1st and 22nd.

Unfortunately, every time the victim tried to receive his investment returns, various excuses were given by the company, leading the victim to feel cheated and report the matter to the police yesterday
