I understand the problem we have with people who don’t need opioids and doctors who force patients into them. But my problem is that there are many patients who actually need opioids to function due to pain. And I feel the real people in need get punished
I’ve had to argue with doctors because I refuse painkillers. Docs can either put down the Rx pad and pursue alternate pain management therapies for their patients...or they can be part of the problem.
