Some sanction is better than nothing. But a fine of R35m is like a slap on the wrists of a billion dollar corporation that has endangered the lives of drivers and in some cases led to fatalities. Some people burned alive in the Ford Kugas. Is R50 000 sufficient compensation? No.

2 Questions: 1. How does the state get R35m and those that suffered actual losses only R50k? 2. R50k, really? That’s probably less than the profit on 1 Kuga!! Sickening! Dear Ford, this is absolutely disgusting. ShoveYour50 ThabisoTema

And what are affected customers going to get?

While reporting about Ford is paying consumers for vehicles fire damages. Why does SABC using an unsecured link to its site?

Well done NCC, still don’t like the way Ford treated this whole situation. I don’t think I’ll ever own a Ford

I wonder, what's going to people who went through hell,Couse of those burn cars,

R35million vs Ford billions
