Dating apps including Tinder and Bumble are being investigated for allegedly letting minors and sex offenders on the platforms

Tinder, Bumble, and a number of popular dating services are targets of a House investigation for allegedly allowing minors and sex offenders on their platformsthat found many popular free dating apps permitted registered sex offenders to use them, while the paid versions of these same apps screened them out.

Bumble, Grindr, The Meet Group and the Match Group, which owns such popular services as Tinder, Match.com and OkCupid, are the current targets of the investigation by the U.S. House Oversight and Reform subcommittee on economic and consumer policy.
