The tools the gov has to try to manage the market aren't going to work - not for this. The only way to curb market fears is to curb and contain the virus+take care of the people. When the parts are missing for your new iPad or vehicle, lowering rates when ppl r sick won't fix it

So tired of seeing these stock photos of frazzled traders.

Gotta love it!

Shut it down like everything else. No buying. No selling for a month!

Democrats don't seem to care about our health or our 401Ks !!

If 'The Market' didn't see this coming then I don't know what to think except the world is not ready for a true catastrophic event.

Who will put money in a bank that gives no interest? Why do you cater to the debt-ridden, federal govt., instead of helping responsible parties earn a bit for good savings behavior? Trying to make more debtors or put all US banks out of business? So much for privatization.

Why is it always the same 3 guys in these photos? Is the entire world economy in the hands or a couple gamblers?

On Friday Trump bragged about how he fueled a “recording breaking” rise in the stock market. So he’s back-to-back on “record breaking”. Ain’t hearing squat outta him today.

When everything is closed down, what do they expect?

When this is all over, the entire adult population of the US will need a stimulus. A jolt to the economy. 1k each like Yang proposed.

Im sure that's as much a cause than a fix. You don't do a fix that isn't needed. Something else works less efficiently usually.

Notice that every time Trump opens his hole and blows hot air, the market tanks. How many more times does this happen before they just sequester him in a closet, or invoke the 25th?

This is what happens when you boomers freak out over a political bio weapon scare

Notice how Trump says he has no control over the market when it's tanking

And Delusional Donald, as always, didn't help.
