An adorable dog has made a miraculous recovery after being rescued from a butcher who almost killed her.

People are more upset about this than other animals, because we keep dogs as pets. Unless we choose to stop eating any animals ourselves, we really are in no position to complain, as in, why should some animals lives be more important than others?
