Former Labor Minister Stephen Conroy says the Labor Party is giving workers in the coal industry a “very positive sign” by reaffirming the importance of coal.

Labor has recently voiced support for the coal industry, with resources spokeswoman Madeleine King announcing the party will not stand in the way of new coal mines.

“If I was Scott Morrison today, I would be a little bit nervous that maybe the Labor Party has learnt [from] some of the mistakes it’s made over the last few years,” Mr Conroy told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

Labor knows we need coal for energy at this time . It's the way liberal's spin it , that labor want coal gone today.

Bit late now to have a coal epiphany, what about Victoria

WHOOP DE DOO - Its coal week and every cares about this much |--| Once the Hunter by-election is done coal talk will be fossilised as it usually

So Australia is getting left behind by nitwits/coal shysters and propogandists by not transforming our energy production like every other first world nation.

Did that start today. The view was different last week 🤔
