Beyond looking out for their own ranks, tech companies have an obligation to protect users.
These are just a few of the steps tech companies should take to protect access to abortion, the life and health of their employees, and the privacy of their users—but there will almost certainly be more to do. The companies must take active steps to ensure that their technology is not used as a tool to marginalize pregnant people.
