Former B.C. premier Christy Clark says federal government over-regulation causing Canada to lose ground in energy market

Former British Columbia premier Christy Clark says Canada’s natural gas industry is losing ground internationally because of government over-regulation, while Australia makes more gains in the Pacific market.

Clark, who is now an adviser at the law firm Bennett Jones, said the United States has eclipsed the Canadian gas sector and it would like to make sure that it remains at a disadvantage. Clark, as the B.C. Liberal leader, came from behind to win the 2013 provincial election with promises of a debt-free B.C., based on a liquefied natural gas windfall that could wipe out provincial debt and create thousands of jobs.

Yeah we sure did. Good thing we spent a decade consulting with native groups negotiating their ransom demands.

Please Christy! Just go away!

She told us about LNG . Never gave us LNG . But---------she did { talk } about it.

She is correct, but unless I am mistaken Christie Clark was premier when 8 projects were on the books to be commissioned but NEVER did, Australia & USA and others moved forward!!!!
