One account says Donald Trump pressured an executive to gift several of his company shares to Trump's wife.

It's the latest development in a series of troubling reports from inside the nascent company, headed by former. The Post obtained a copy of a whistleblower complaint filed with the SEC against the company in August by company executive Will Wilkerson, and in its report said the documents attached to the complaint reveal"a stunning portrait of the animosity that has built up inside the company" since its debut last year.

Five months later, Litinsky — a former contestant on"The Apprentice" who first pitched the idea of Truth Social to Trump —. The Post report said both Litinsky and Wilkerson believe the move was made in retaliation for Litinsky's refusal to give Melania a portion of his shares, which the Post said would be worth"a small fortune."

"President Trump over the past 2 months has repeatedly demanded that I give my TMTG equity to Melania Trump," Litinsky wrote in an email that was published by the Post."As I have informed him several times, I have earned that equity, and also 'gifting' equity to Melania Trump would be a taxable event of which I can't afford to pay the taxes. Trump has said multiple times ... that he will 'blow up the company' if his demands are not met.

The Post said that Wilkerson, who was serving as senior vice president of operations, was fired last week after speaking with the outlet.said that Truth Social, the company's flagship product, was experiencing serious financial trouble. According to that report, the social media platform — at the time — owed $1.6 million in missed monthly payments to its web-hosting service.
