Boston Scientific, the US medical device company, is to create more than 400 new jobs as part of an €80 million investment in Clonmel.
The investment is to be used to increase the size of its existing site, which includes a centre of excellence for metal additives used in a range of electronic components for medical technology. Hiring is already underway for positions in highly specialised roles within production, engineering, quality, supply chain and R&D functions.
