Provincial and territorial finance ministers joined their federal counterpart Chrystia Freeland virtually for a discussion of Alberta’s proposal to leave the Canada Pension Plan , but some left unhappy with what was missing from the meeting’s agenda.following the meeting, Alberta Finance Minister Nate Horner said “several finance ministers” raised the carbon tax issue during Friday’s meeting, but that it was never a topic of discussion.
