For over sixty years, rock and roll legend Sir Rod Stewart has been delighting audiences with his dulcet tones and larger than life personality.
“When I was 15 or 16, I got very drunk on whiskey and I didn't want to chase it for a long time,” explained Rod during an exclusive chat with OK! What followed was months of meticulous planning and research, to try and get the flavour and smoothness of the drink down to a tee, but it was the added attention to detail and personal touches that showed just how much love and thought had been poured into the rocker's entrepreneurial venture.
Alastair, Rod’s 18 year old son with wife Penny Lancaster was fully involved with the company all throughout Summer 2023 and beyond as he helped to produce digital marketing and promotional content for the company, all while studying movie creation and video production at university. “I’m so, so, proud of her though. Absolutely so proud. I’ve been right behind her right from the start.”
Crucially however, the pair were also able to bond over their shared love of model railways, something that it turns out, actually brought them together long before the music. He then continued: “I must admit I'm so proud of it. I work on it every day.” And that even includes when he’s on tour. Among the latest additions to his collection is a new skyscraper based on New York and Detroit that by his own admission came with some very towering proportions.
