He also reiterated concerns about underage players and safety related to skill games.
Among the many points of disagreement: The House version would have allowed each truck stop to host up to five skill games, the Senate, seven. The surprising compromise they eventually struck upped that number to 10.While it also sets a 25 percent tax on game revenue and requires a central monitoring system to make sure the state gets its full share, the compromise bill is widely seen as favorable to an industry that since 2020 the General Assembly has twice seen fit to ban.
