Beni Baningime admits the calibre of player coming to Hearts this summer could persuade him not to leave.
“Would that help with me staying here long term – 100 per cent but I won’t be signing any contract with anyone before the end of the season. We’re doing it at the end of the season. I’ve spoken with my family, there won’t be any pre-contract with this team or this team.” One player already at the club who has been tipped to have a bright future at Tynecastle is Macaulay Tait after the 18-year-old made his full debut on Saturday alongside Baningime. The midfielder has shown glimpses of his potential in nine sub outings and did not look out of place against Killie.
“So no one is surprised he is doing well and the gaffer is giving him his chance. For me it’s exciting to see him grow and continue to play.”
