Earlier this year, Jeep wowed everyone when they revealed their vision for an electric luxury 4x4 in the form of the. At the time, they only released several images and details about the upcoming EV. However, they did confirm it will have four screens on the dashboard and a powertrain capable of cranking out over 600 PS.
We already know what it looks like since the first images came out last January. But as a refresher, the Wagoneer S looks unlike your typical Jeep. With an emphasis on a sleek and daring design, the all-electric Jeep trades boxy looks for cutting-edge aesthetics. From the thin LED headlights & taillights to the sloping roofline as well as the flush door handles, the Wagoneer S looks like it's cutting through the wind.
At the heart of the Wagoneer S is an electric motor that doles out a healthy 608 PS and a staggering 837 Nm of pull. Power is then sent to all four wheels which allows the all-electric Jeep to catapult itself from 0 – 97 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 km/h. A 100 kWh battery pack gives the Wagoneer S a range of over 482 km and can be quickly recharged via DC charging from 20% to 80% in 23 minutes.
Hop inside and the Wagoneer S welcomes occupants into a stylish and tech-laden cabin. As mentioned before, the Wagoneer S comes with four screens – resulting in a total resolution of 45 inches of usable screen space. The screens consist of a 10.25-inch interactive display for the passenger, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, another 12.3-inch that serves as the infotainment display, and another screen for the HVAC controls & other in-car functions.
