Tesla's second quarter results have arrived with the EV giant missing on earnings for more on Tesla earnings. So uh Tesla reports Q two adjusted eps uh does Miss Brett uh stocks lower here but you know, we're awful low.I mean, the, the real story in Tesla is its ability to leverage artificial intelligence to deliver a Robo taxi service.
And so, um if you look at kind of the our publication on, on what we think is going to be the development pathway of the business, the the probability is mostly in this year and next year when they begin to commercialize, and it will flow through the financials and in a really transformative way, they go from selling vehicles one time and getting really poor margin on vehicle sales to getting software revenue off of vehicles um annually.
And that's largely been the cause of underperformance in innovation exposures broadly simultaneously. They understand there's a lot of innovation going on. And so kind of actually the the the technologies that are entering the marketplace today probably create more risk for those large cap tech stocks than any technological introduction since at least the internet, if not the so we go on.
And so it would be foolhardy in my view to not have an aggressive innovation exposure, given the technological tailwind. And I think a lot of people, you know, experience frustration like, well, why can't you tell me in three months, what these companies are going to be worth. Um Brett, thank you so much for your reaction, Tesla for talking to us through all that and we will keep in touch and keep an eye on your performance. There's about 2% in the after hours.Of course, you looked at Visa as another tell on the consumer in the US.
That be analysts expectations its outlook in line with forecasts, an encouraging sign that orders may be on the rise.Analysts were expecting 4.14 billion and its profit also is in line with what analysts are expecting for the current quarter. It really has the widest customer base. So analysts have been sort of positive about what these results could mean for the rest of the industry and also about this company, which is a Dallas based company, by the way, with one analy saying, look among all the geopolitical uh concern that you had especially last week with respect to China, with respect to Taiwan, uh that this company could be sort of seen as a safe haven among the semiconductor companies as well as building chips uh chip factories here in the US benefiting from...
And that was after, uh of course, Reuters reported the company been approached by private equity firm, uh L Catterton and and Reuters also said that approach could attract others, maybe clean rival Hasbro.Yes, we will coming up a break from the earnings madness with our trading day takeaways and we're asking for a trend. It's an anticipation of results from the likes of Tesla and Google stocks did end the trading day lower off the highs from earlier in the session.
I'm gonna get to our futures heat map here round out our analysis HG equals F. So this is month to date and you can see it's down 10% in the month of July, but we actually peaked in May.They call a Doctor Copper referendum on the economy. This broke down from basically a one month trading range.Yeah, because the dollar is denominator in all of these uh commodities that we're talking about.
But here's the thing that sounds like not that much, but the Bitcoin ETF S were by far the largest ETF launch of all time, right? If we see 20 to 30% of the flow into these Ethereum ETF S, it's a game changer for Ethereum. And this initial trading today suggests we're on the right track and and Matt, you're, you're offering one of these spot.
If you don't own Ethereum as well, that's where a huge amount of venture capital activity is going into a huge develop amount of development activity. This is a very exciting growth area of the technology sector. When you put non correlated assets into an otherwise diversified portfolio of stock and bonds, usually good things happened.
Will it slow down, will it slow down enough to bring wage growth down without tumbling us into an employment recession? And here's a chart brought to us from Liz Everet, Kris Kreisberg, excuse me from the Bank of America Institute.Um And this looks at people who are changing jobs, what happens to their pay, the median pay changes here in purple and the average annual average is shaded.
