The scene of the accident where scholar transport bus collided with a train on the R104 between Arnot and Wonderfontein in Mpumalanga.Nine of the victims remain in a critical condition.
The crash happened at a level crossing on the R104 between Arnot and Wonderfontein in Middelburg on Wednesday. Health MEC Sasekani Manzini explains:”We can indicate so far we have left with nine patients that are admitted. Five are in Middelburg Hospital and four are in Witbank Hospital those are critical because Witbank is one of our tertiary hospitals. We can indicate that there is one patient that we are working with Steve-Biko and they are going to send their specialist to come and operate in Emalahleni municipality, one of our hospitals there and we wish them speedy recovery.
