KUALA LUMPUR: The Public Accounts Committee will summon former finance ministers Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz and Lim Guan Eng to testify before the committee in its investigation into 1MDB asset recovery.
To complete the proceedings, she said Tengku Zafrul, who is currently the Investment, Trade and Industry Minister, and his predecessor Lim will be summoned. The PAC began its probe after the Auditor-General’s Report flagged issues related to 1MDB’s financial commitments. The Auditor-General's report recommended that the recovery of assets linked to 1MDB and SRC International Sdn Bhd be expedited.
