President Donald Trump lashed out at Mexico on Sunday morning, calling the close U.S. ally and important trading partner an “abuser” while threatening to implement taxes that would force U.S. companies to bring jobs back from the Latin American nation.
“Make no mistake, Mexico is a hostile foreign power. For decades, the Mexican government has sent its poor north to our country,” Carlson claimed. “That has allowed that country's criminal oligarchy to maintain power and get even richer, but at great expense to us,” he added. “Trade policy and border security are separate issues," Senate Finance Chairman Chuck Grassley, a Republican from Iowa, said."This is a misuse of presidential tariff authority and counter to congressional intent. Following through on this threat would seriously jeopardize passage of USMCA, a central campaign pledge of President Trump’s and what could be a big victory for the country,” he continued.
At what point does GOP invoke 25thAmendment? Either POTUS is clearly Unwell or he is gambling with USEconomy to distract from disastrous MuellerReport. In either case, America MUST NOT be left in the hands of clearly Compromised and Unfit IndividualOne
Oh really?
All Trump’s stupid threats sound great to the “yeah, by god”, herd. And, it’s true...in ignorance is bliss. But, in the reality grounded world, people, even “them”, get hurt. Why does he do these things. Yes, he’s incompetent, but, he just doesn’t care!
Amazing isn't it? The ONE bright spot in Trump's America is our 'robust' economy, and now he's trying to mess THAT up, too.. (Of course, it's only robust on the surface; those who've looked at it more closely know better.)
realDonaldTrump is the worst negotiator. Ever. ArtofNoDeal
So the goal is to destroy Mexico's economy? That will sure result in a lower illegal immigration.
This is going well 🙄
Trump knows what it means to be an abuser.
