PET BUSINESS,ANIMAL BOARDING,CAT CHALETS

Craig Hailes and Vicky Corcoran started a small animal hotel after struggling to find boarding for their guinea pigs. They quickly realized the demand for cat boarding was high and expanded their business into a cat-focused facility, eventually selling the small animal side to focus solely on cats.

It was while they were looking for someone to look after their two rescued guinea pigs that Craig Hailes and Vicky Corcoran first spotted a gap in the market. They were going away on holiday, but were struggling to find anywhere that looked after small animals. The couple, who had recently graduated from the University of Liverpool with 'two random degrees', decided to open an animal hotel for small pets.

So then we built another 20, thinking we'd never fill 40. And now we have 69 cat chalets.' Each cat chalet comes with a separate thermostatically controlled heated bedroom, complete with dining area, ensuite toilet, beds and blankets and an extra raised platform area above the radiator with a window to look out of. A catflap leads into a private playroom area with a climbing frame complete with scratch posts, toys, beds and blankets.
