But they were up 39% during the same 644 day period at the start of President Barack Obama's tenure.Trump's stock market also lags a bit behind the 36% gain during the same period at the start of President George H.W. Bush from 1989 through mid-1991, and the 29% rise at the start of President Bill Clinton's tenure.

The S&P fell 26% following the bursting of the Internet stock bubble nearly a year before he took office. The percentage changes were calculated through the close of trading Monday, and the comparable period in the earlier administrations. Stocks rallied further on Tuesday with news that the United States was delaying some tariffs from taking effect.

This is so disingenuous. Obama’s rise was off a financial crisis low with much, if not most of the gain just reclaiming recent past ground. Trumps rise was off near all time highs. Hardly comparable. What would the comparison be off their respective recent highs.

Ridicolous biased conclusion. Obama naturally had higher growth given the zero ground found when he started. CNN losing credibility again. At the end CNN will be a weather channel only soon in a best case!

Cause that’s all that matters, not ppl , not animals, not the environment

Plus, you know Obama has a way bigger wang.

The Obama Administration did “Quanitative Easing” & 0 % interest rates falsely get stock market to rise. DO YOUR HOMEWORK CNN

CIA realDonaldTrump pls stop killing people in HongKong

Imagine a school’s graduation rate is at 65%. Just awful. They hire Principal Obama who took it to 85%. 20 pt higher! Good job, but that’s average at best. Principal Trump comes in and took the 85% to 95%. Only 10 pt jump but 95 is great. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Why has neither case made me feel richer? Is it because I, like many people, invest in gas, food, rent, and an occasional book?

Crooks, knew what Trump's administration was going to do 4,the Ritchie's 1% n America & Russia!

LOL. After market had a huge drop they jump on this. Come on Fredo report the news fairly every once in a while.
