Hundreds of U.S. companies plan to give employees time off to vote in this year’s presidential election as part of a business-led push to lift the nation’s traditionally low voter turnout.

If this country actually wanted citizens to vote it would be a holiday and there would be guaranteed early voting and poll stations guaranteed to be within 1/2 hour travel time for all citizens, but, yeah, the grifters in charge don’t actually want everyone voting.
