A German biotech company says it did not receive an offer from President Trump to buy exclusive access to a coronavirus vaccine.

The report also said Trump wanted CureVac to move its research group to the United States from Tübingen, the southern German town where the company is based. There may not have been a formal & binding offer, but majority shareholder (80%) D. Hopp confirmed in an interview that Trump tried to get exclusive rights to the vaccine. He rejected this. Curiously, Mechinella was dismissed on March 12 due to a shareholder's intervention.
