District police chief Assistant Commissioner Habibi Majanji said police noted the concerns raised particularly by budget hotel operators although they have yet to receive reports regarding property break-ins.

With the extension of the MCO, budget hotel operators have expressed concern over individuals taking advantage of the Covid-19 situation to commit crimes.
