The closure will take effect Wednesday (April 29) until May 13.

The Kuala Lumpur City Hall has issued a notice informing the public that the closure will take effect Wednesday until May 13.

This is the second market to be closed for cleaning exercises after the Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market was shut down for cleaning last week. A DBKL spokesman said the cleaning activities would be carried out by DBKL and waste contractor Alam Flora. "The public are advised to be patient and look for other markets around the area to buy their vegetables. This is only a temporary setback, ” the spokesman added.
