Fox News host Pete Hegseth urges healthy people to 'have some courage' and get 'out there' to help build herd immunity while broadcasting from inside his house

Conservative Fox News opinion host Pete Hegseth took to the airwaves on Thursday to call for Americans to "put freedom before fear" and start "getting out there" in defiance of stay-at-home orders governors across the country have imposed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

"Healthy people getting out there — they're going to have some courage," said Hegseth, who appears to be in good health and has not, as far as the public knows, tested positive for the coronavirus. The US is currently the global epicenter of the novel coronavirus outbreak, with more than 1.2 million confirmed cases and 73,573 deaths.

This is a crime he is commiting!

Where should he broadcast from?

After Pete and Donald get out hand in hand with their families, I might be able to gather up my cowardly self and get out courageously. At least, Boris has learned his lesson. Healthy people get out and bring back the virus to old and weak people at home. They die, Pete!

The people at that network have no shame. I'm almost jealous...

Let him go out and get immunity

Hegseth should lead us by example and go out and tongue kiss infected people. Let's see what happens.

Trumpers First

So, either he is unhealthy, and/or a coward.

Let him take the lead

stupid. herd immunity is when something like 70% of people have the antibodies. we're at 2%. this is the strategy that made the UK a basket case and put Boris Johnson in intensive care.

All rightwingers across the globe are equally fake and coward.

When sanity reigned supreme and you only quarantined the sick

Ghetto.

I agree with him.

(Taps temple) can’t get sick if you’re dead.
