For the past 40 years,than men in every presidential election and women represent the majority of registered voters. In the 2016 election, women cast nearly 10 million more ballots than men did.
In a similar vein, Hillary Clinton's defeat delivered a gut-wrenching blow to everyone who had hoped to achieve a political milestone with the country's first female president.

We can’t interpret rights mentioned in the Constitution as being “granted” to us, but as us always having these God-given rights and when an amendment is passed, the Constitution only recognizes our rights and that the government it formed is there to protect our rights.
