People who fail at a job have usually not tried hard enough.Our society would have fewer problems if people had less leisure time.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, as people "self-police" their work without the social guardrails of a physical office, those with high PWE are probably not the ones FaceTime-ing with friends, sleeping late, or binging on Netflix during work hours.on things that seem — or are — unsolvable. These days, that will be especially hard for high-PWE managers like Angie, who can no longer exert as much control over their teams or tasks. Understanding where that frustration comes from is an important early step toward dealing with high PWE.With Zoom meetings as the norm, those with high PWE, especially managers, tend to dive right into the task at hand, rather than checking in with colleagues or engaging in small talk.
