US neobank Chime could be set more than double its valuation to as much as $15 billion in just 9 months with a major new funding round

US neobank Chime is in talks to raise at least $500 million in a fresh round of VC funding and could potentially more than double its $5.8 billion Series E valuation, Business Insider has learned.

Chime raised $500 million a round led by Twitter and Revolut backer DST Global in December last year but has seen rapid growth in 2020.
