Opinion | Welcome to the bizarro world where Trump's tax returns prove he's actually a genius. By anthonyLfisher

Two crossed lines that form an 'X'. It indicates a way to close an interaction, or dismiss a notification.Trump's tax returns show he's a terrible businessman, loaded with debt, who essentially pays no taxes. If the returns proved he was a billionaire, he wins. That they proved he "beats the system," means his critics lose.

For Trump's most fervent supporters, two predetermined responses were already locked in and ready to go. If the returns showed he is actually a billionaire, then he's a brilliant businessman and all the naysayers need to eat their words. If the returns showed massive losses, debt, and a tax bill lower than the just about every middle class taxpayer in America — as they actually did —that just shows you what an adept player of "the system," Trump is. Eat it, haters.

anthonyLfisher His accountant is a genius (possibly). He is a lunatic...

anthonyLfisher His base of white, rural “lowest common denominator” supporters view his Tax’s loopholes manipulations with Davy Lawyers as ‘beating the system’ and consider him a hero 🤔

anthonyLfisher He is not a genius, he goes against social pacts. That’s a crook, but we all know that by now. You complimenting him caused me not to want to read your dummy stories anymore.

anthonyLfisher LOL For years, poor people only had some $6,300 in personal deduction, while most dont itemize. Trump came in office, knowing how screwed poor ppl are & doubled deduction ($12k) and child tax credit Who here will give back half of deduction and give half child tax credit back?🤔

anthonyLfisher Didn’t read the article, but the headline is ridiculous. TRUMP’s accountants/lawyers wrote off millions in tax deductions for his failing businesses. All Trump did was sign the paperwork. A genius doesn’t have 6 bankruptcies.

anthonyLfisher Get the fuck outta here ... Welcome to the bizarro world of reporting where journalists make excuses for a career criminal, who also happens to be President. Quality opinion piece. On your bike 🚲

anthonyLfisher It also proves he's totally willing to screw over the country he's responsible for 'leading'. Let me repeat that: It proves he's totally willing to screw over the country he's responsible for 'leading'.

anthonyLfisher crime CrookedDonald everything he is doing is reported on shows like 20/20 etc. We have seen many stories about companies incorporating in Ireland to avoid paying taxes in the USA. this is not genius, it high business. This is why the hated Obama. Obama tried to get that money

Trump denies New York Times report on tax returns as 'fake news' - Business InsiderBusiness Insider is a fast-growing business site with deep financial, media, tech, and other industry verticals. Launched in 2007, the site is now the largest business news site on the web. Heck melania's pool boy paid more taxes and he got benefits Poor Democrats never took Business 101. When someone spends (i.e. invests) more money in their business than it brings in during the year, then there are technically no 'profits' to be taxed. It doesn't mean they're not thriving or committing tax fraud!😂 Time to lay your cards down. Prove it.

'In 2017, the president’s $750 contribution to the operations of the U.S. government was dwarfed by the $15,598 he or his companies paid in Panama, the $145,400 in India and the $156,824 in the Philippines.'
