The deal is a big get for Spotify as it continues its foray into the podcasting world — it's already acquired Gimlet Media and Anchor and has struck deals with Joe Rogan and Kim Kardashian West.Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will produce and host podcasts exclusively on Spotify as part of a multi-year partnership.

Archewell will release a holiday special hosted by the Duke and Duchess, and in partnership with Spotify's Gimlet studio, later this month that will feature "inspirational guests." The first complete series, however, is excepted to air at some point in 2021 and will be available for free. A price was not disclosed as part of the deal. Spotify did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment.
