If the companies spend less on advertising their over priced drugs we might be able to afford them. And by the way, why do we pay more the EU citizens.

What a great idea!!

Because we have the highest drug prices.

Reduce the cost then. President Trump has a good idea.

Since drug manufactures are often just slightly altering or putting two older drug in one pill to charge exorbitant prices until generics are available, scaring patients into using generically available equivalents might force drug companies to develop better drugs to patent.
