Malaysian Hairdressing Association and United Asian Hairdressers Association president Michael Poh said members were struggling to stay financially afloat with rental to pay.

“Our salons and barber outlets are not allowed to operate until the second phase but this is indefinite. Malaysian Indian Hair Dressing Salon Owners Association president Magendran Vellasamy said the association’s 800 members throughout peninsular Malaysia were facing untold difficulties.“Our members are perplexed about how to keep their businesses going if they are not allowed to operate.
