PippaStevens13 What about the atrocities caused by mineral mining around the world? The whole technology industry needs to change if it is ever to be green, clean, fair, non-exploitative and sustainable..

bombersmadd PippaStevens13 If you thought lithium was going to be surging, wait till this fact sinks in… By weight, graphite is the largest component in LiBs and they contain 10-15 times more graphite than lithium. There is up to 10 kgs of graphite in the average HEV and up to 70 kgs in an EV.

PippaStevens13 Imagine we got good fact news like this but we replace 'EVs' with 'gas cars' and 'lithium' with 'oil' in this video: Everyone wants ICEs, but there's a problem. ICEs require a lot of poisonous fossil fuel and oils - and illnesses from air pollution and climate change are surging.

PippaStevens13 Gee, you sound like PeterSchiff

PippaStevens13 Not to mention these batteries are literal toxic waste. Why does no one want to talk about that? Follow the money and wokeness. EV's are all about virtue signalling. The mines rape the earth and then give you toxic waste in the end but its green so forget the unreported facts!

subi_sa PippaStevens13 Why there will be a Gold rush for Lithium!

PippaStevens13 $F and $GM should stop obsessing with competition with $TSLA. They have the biggest opportunity in the car industry for the next 50 years - build the greenest ICE car by redesigning the most pollution free exhaust system. The future is brightest with a mixture of ICE and EVs.

PippaStevens13 What a load of BS. Current car batteries require 1Kg of Lithium per 10.1 kWh of battery. A Tesla 64kWh battery requires ~ 6Kg of Lithium ~$300.00 at todays prices. a Very small proportion of the overall cost of an EV.

PippaStevens13 we dont all want evs..
