In his weekly letter to the nation, President Cyril Ramaphosa has warned those who have stolen from the state that their crimes will catch up with them, no matter who they are or what position they hold. crime SIUSpecialTribunal

In his letter to the nation on Monday, President Ramaphosa says the Special Tribunal of the Special Investigations Unit he established in 2019 is one of the most effective weapons the country has to fight corruption.

He says the Special Tribunal, which adjudicates on matters that the SIU institutes for civil litigation after it has concluded its investigations, is aimed at speeding up legal processes and ensuring that stolen assets are recovered faster.President Ramaphosa says it is not sufficient that perpetrators of corruption are prosecuted, the money that they have stolen from citizens to provide basic services must be recovered.

The Special Tribunal allows the SIU to request the freezing of assets of those under suspicion to prevent further losses to the state.President Ramaphosa says the tribunal has allowed money to be recovered from corrupt executives in State-Owned Enterprises and delayed the payment of their pension benefits pending the outcome of the SIU’s investigations.

Well that’s your whole cabinet/ANC.

Dipatje tja felo

That's why we love Silili,he doesn't make noise and isn't a coward some thought he was 🤣

What about his shanduka shenanigans in Gauteng and Free State? We hope he also includes and his son about Bosasa black monies. When will CR17 sealed brown envelopes be unsealed? Our patience is waning!!!

Does this include SARS, stealing from widows

More talk!!! ... where is the action...!!!!

I agree with him. But Mr President, please appoint somebody that is ' clean' with enough knowledge to go after these people. They need to be punished. Even if they are 'only' drawing sassa under a fake/false name. This we know is a general practice by government officials

EFFSouthAfrica Devi_HQ I been working for willowton group for over 12 years and I'm still working under contract. Still earning the basic wage of R21 and hour. I'm an assistant yet getting paid the same as a janitor that comes and work for the company today

Good Pres my Pres.....jail the obviously some squandered the money long time, some in and out of courts paying Dali Mpofu and his charge as an Advocate is high especially towards ANC folks unless they are colluding(collusion of the wounded)

He should start with the ANC on that matter swippingthefloor cleaningthecountry

What's going to happen to those who are guilty of irregular expenditure, are they also going to feel your brunt Mr. President...

That is some funny shit coming from someone who idly sits by for ages and does nothing. His second term is far more important than rocking the boat with the ANC and tackle theft and corruption which rules Luthuli House. CyrilRamaphosa lets see some action if you are serious.

SouthAfricansP1 These words attributed to you by are words of virtue PresidencyZA CyrilRamaphosa If used in vain, they will make words like 'fruitless and wasteful expenditure' look like a NATIONAL PRESIDENTIAL AWARD...don't use them unless you mean them.

I'll believe this statement once I see people get prosecuted with supporting statement ' no possibility of parole

Lets see if he's not bluffing

Talk is cheap

Can't believe the Anc stole from SAns who entrusted them after apartheid and you still get those idiotic Anc voters or supporters..poor black ppl and loyalty 🙄🤣🤣 I can't...! God save this country from morons hle!

Jehova umkhulu ❤️

What about him(shanduka) siphoning money from free state education department for non existent school infrastructures🤡

Intendala ke leyo

He must be talking about himself.

Blaaaa.. Blaaaalaaa

Yeah abashwe

So talking to himself the most i see. There's no bigger criminal in the ANC than Cyril, he's the richest for a reason.
