Company offering time off and flexible working for staff on periods

"But at the same time it does happen every month and I can't help that so I'm learning to put my guilt aside and do what works for me whether that's taking time off or working from home or sometimes feeling fine and then I don't need that support.

She said she thought it also benefitted the company, as being unwell meant she could "make mistakes and it could cost clients".The firm said it updated its menopause policy in an effort to be more inclusive and help increase productivity."It's symptoms 50% of the population experience so when you're trying to make the culture as inclusive as possible it makes sense to think how do you support that structurally," said Anna Langdon of Hargreaves Lansdown.

They could do with allowances for exams too. Study for 14 years just to have one of your A-levels land on a day you're struggling not to faint in a hot room. Modular exams are much fairer.

That's discrimination against men, we should get time off when horny

🙄wtf next

Before much longer no one will go to work. Absolutely ridiculous

Men would have had this from the start of time if they had periods

Female staff only? Or can men claim a period holiday?

bet their is strings attached..

Separate and unequal. As though menstruation were a serious disease. This does women no favors.

I have them terribly but now a days there are so many things you can do which help. Medication and protection are the best they’ve ever been. Pandering to peoples needs in this way is what makes the future generations wet!!

Absolute pathetic and woke what do these people think happened previously WE JUST GOT ON WITH IT and I am a woman Grow up

I support this

Usually you take time off when unwell; how odd. But then ponder; performance; extra mile? or at the last minutes dropped everything went home; leave male colleague to fill in. next we don't get paid more than men; wonder why? took year off to have baby. sort hard to justify pay?

Ohhhh can I have time off for my headache & stomach pain? Asking for another friend 🤔🙄

Are the Company offering time off and flexible working for partners of staff on periods

Astonishingly, women have always managed to hold down a job, a household and children without being pandered to. How on earth did we manage? Anyone would think periods had only just been invented. 🤦‍♀️

Well done.

ridiculous just get on with it and ruin a few computer chairs a long the way lol

In my day we just got in with it. Unless you were dying you went to work!! What a pathetic species we are!

Is that for men and women😱
