NEW: Senior members of Twitter's privacy and security teams have exited the company, according to an internal company message obtained by ABC News.

Among them were chief privacy officer Damien Kieran, chief compliance officer Marianne Fogarty and chief information officer Lea Kissner, according to the message. Kissner confirmed their resignation in a Tweet earlier this morning. None have responded to ABC's request for comment.

In this file photo taken on Oct. 28, 2022, the Twitter sign is seen at their headquarters in San Francisco."He chose to enter into that agreement," the Twitter lawyer added regarding Musk's acquisition of Twitter. "All of us are being put through this as a result of the choices he made." In the message, the attorney brought up the FTC settlement Twitter agreed to in May; the company was caught using telephone numbers and emails for targeted advertising, even though they were only supposed to be used for multi-factor authentication logins. The FTC hit the company with a $150 million fine and provided Twitter with a list of new compliance rules.

Gonna stick around because of my handle and see WTH happens next. Aside from that, twitter is stagnating.

It's a 💩 show!

Hoping there are still whistleblowers left in the company.

Barbaric regime in Iran! Tonight, as Iranians were dancing in the streets of Rasht, pro-regime militias showed up and shot at protesters. They shot a girl who was fighting for life afterwards. Iranians are literally risking their life for freedom.IranRevolution

Uh-oh.

So fire or make everyone leave and then charge people for the piece of garbage that’s left?

Twitter needs to catch and remove employees that work as an agent for foreign countries like Iran, China, Russia and etc.

Now what? Jfc..

Good elonmusk is cleaning house. Had DonaldJTrump done that on day one he would probably be in his second term today!

DavidJollyFL Where'd they go ?

A good start

Boohoo Poor babies needed to get out of their PJs and go to work. Such weenies

He can’t make Twitter work alone like a Tesla? I thought he was a miracle coder and builder and thinker and maker and doer. Better than all others

So basically those who helped suppress the views of others… just like they told pipeline workers… they can get new jobs

If you have stock… might be a good time to evaluate your status 😂

DavidJollyFL One of them announced it here, on Twitter

Censorship team. The ones that never heard the old 'Sticks & Stones' saying. Do better!

Yeah

In the antitrust suspicions there could have been 1s Amendment violation. They're getting away!

Elon, you need to cool it. It's not your workers' fault you bought Twitter. Settle down or I'm outta here. And I suspect I'm not the only one.

Advertisers are exiting too which means this app is going to be a worthless 44 billion dollar piece of junk. Great investment by the trust fund baby.

Don't give up 😄
