High-paying remote jobs continue to soar amid the return-to-office debate. Here are the industries with the most.

The continued rise in high-paying remote jobs shows a hiring market that still favors employees in many industries, and comes as business leaders continue to push for workers to return to the office. New Twitter Inc. CEOordered employees back to the office after laying off more than half its staff. Social media company Snap Inc. is ordering employees to come back in four days a week and Salesforce Inc. is calling some staff back to its corporate office.

Overall, metro areas saw about 19% of their workers working primarily from home, compared to just 9% in non-metro areas.found about 26% are refusing to comply with mandates by their employer to return to the office and work onsite. Another 49% said they were complying, while 25% said their employer was not requiring them to return.
