STRATFORD, P.E.I. — From Canada’s smallest province comes a small company that sells small electric vehicles.

Design engineer Russell Pedden said the fledgling company is “taking cars that otherwise may go to a scrapyard and giving them a new life.We’rethinking it’s going to almost double the life span of these cars.” — Joe Knycha REGINA, SASK. — An electric Ford F-150 Lightning has joined the City of Regina’s maintenance fleet and is expected to bring with it a variety of new operational efficiencies.

Using “predictive artificial intelligence” in loan matching and customer credit management, DecisioningIT provides financing options to consumers for their vehicle purchases. The company’s predictive AI technology allows dealerships to view several lenders at a time “offering the best options for consumers in a matter of seconds,” reports Yahoo! Finance.

“From a production perspective, we were adversely impacted by the application of zero-COVID policies to our manufacturing and component supply partners in China, as pandemic aftershocks continue to challenge our supply chain,” the company said Nov. 14.
