United Airlines said this weekend that it will bring back a popular offering for its upscale-class passengers on long international flights: its sundae cart.that it will bring back the popular service to all passengers in its premium Polaris business class on its long-haul international flights beginning in February.
The airline had previously reinstituted the service to Polaris business-class passengers flying out of San Francisco late last year and now is expanding the service, which was discontinued during the Covid-19 pandemic. United's Instagram followers seemed to be pleased with the decision, commenting,"We missed her so much!,""Hallelujah" and"Oh, Yes."
United's Polaris-class service is the airline's premium travel product, with travelers on flights getting to take advantage of upscale amenities including lie-flat beds, Saks Fifth Avenue bedding and access to United's ultra-swanky Polaris lounges at airports including Chicago O’Hare, Houston Intercontinental, Los Angeles, New York/Newark, San Francisco and Washington Dulles.
