Staff at Dublin advertising agency made redundant after parent company goes into administration

Advertising firm McCann Dublin, along with its parent company AV Browne in Belfast, has entered administration and its staff have been made redundant with immediate effect.

The agency formerly known as McCannBlue was founded as McCann Erikson in 1991 and rebranded as McCann Dublin in 2019 on foot of developing closer links with the international McCann Worldgroup network. McCann Worldgroup is part of Interpublic Group, one of the biggest advertising firms in the world.
