Did leasing for 6yrs & stopped with a recent purchase. hated the fees & assoc. “5 & 10” charges with leases. bought a BMW w/extended warranty. gonna pass the car to my kid in 5 yrs. it’s mine & hers. I also got a 10 yr MB GL 350 in mint shape. If I leased it 10yrs I would’ve lost

Much of what we watch, listen to, and read has become on-demand. Reducing our carbon footprint by taking cars off the road, while simultaneously making them more accessible and cost-effective doesn't seem like such a horrible future to me

It will threaten them, and potentially reduce overall ownership. But there are many situations where people will need to “own” or actually want to “own” a car... so the most likely scenario is a wider mix of options...
