The investigational once-weekly insulin icodec provided superior glucose control compared with the once-daily basal insulins degludec and glargine in T2D, results from two new phase 3a studies suggest.

Insulin icodec has been submitted for regulatory review in the United States, Canada, Europe, China, Australia, Switzerland, and Brazil, with decisions anticipated starting in the first half of 2024.
