Actress Zooey Deschanel and her partner have shared snaps outside two Scottish towns following her beautiful Scottish engagement.

Now-fiancé, Jonathan Scott, popped the question at Edinburgh Castle after four years of dating with both having family ties to the country. Taking to Instagram, Jonathan posted the photos with the caption: "Some might say it’s an Outlander love story, but unlike Claire and Jamie, our families are both from Scottish villages only 15 minutes apart."The pair snapped photos of them standing outside Lanark station as well as a sign with Blackwood in the background, two towns where each of their parents came from.
