Based in Austin, Texas, Sequense is a workflow automation software platform which was created to supercharge travel agency business operations for independent and enterprise scale travel advisors.

A software platform company developed in Texas is relocating to Birmingham after an investment from the Alabama Futures Fund .

Followed the AFF investment, Sequense will move its corporate headquarters to Birmingham, according to CEO Kimber Falkinburg.offers seed-stage investment funding to companies in-state or willing to relocate here. Sequense’s platform allows travel advisors to organize hundreds of tasks by stage of workflow and work type, employing an easy-to-learn project management tool. Users can handle more work efficiency, reduce errors and omissions, and onboard new travel advisors quickly, according to the company.

Sequense is the 18th investment from AFF since it launched in 2018. Redhawk Advisory serves as the investment manager of AFF and advised AFF on the Sequense investment.
