The new tent building will serve as the temporary home for 16 vendors

The weather has pushed back the opening of the new tent building at the Broad Street Market.City officials say the tent for vendors displaced by a big fire at one of the market's buildings this year is now scheduled to open in early November.Wet ground from a lot of rain is the reason for the slight delay.'We just want it to happen as soon as possible we can't rush certain things.

Weather needs to play a role in all of this. We're going to get there in a matter of days so we're just asking for a little more patience,' said Matt Maisel, communications director at city of Harrisburg. The fire back in July ripped through the market's brick building, displacing roughly 20 vendors. The new tent building will serve as a temporary home for 16 vendors while the brick building is rebuilt.
